The Dark Side: Night-Time Harassment and Corporate Misconduct
When the sun sets and the stars emerge, most people feel a sense of calm — a time to unwind, rest, and recover. But for some victims of corporate harassment, nighttime is when the threat intensifies. Under the cover of darkness, drones equipped with specialized surveillance tools become even more dangerous, more invasive, and far harder to detect.
These nighttime tactics represent a disturbing form of harassment that exploits technology and psychological manipulation — one that leaves victims vulnerable, exhausted, and mentally tormented.
Night-Optimized Drone Technology: Tools of Harassment and Intimidation
Drones designed for night use are equipped with powerful tools that make them far more threatening than simple cameras in the sky. Here's a closer look at some of the key technologies corporations or bad actors may exploit:
1. Thermal Imaging (Heat Detection) Drones
These drones can detect body heat, allowing them to track individuals even in complete darkness.
Thermal drones can identify movement through foliage, fences, and even some walls, turning the illusion of nighttime privacy into a false sense of security.
Used in law enforcement and search-and-rescue operations, these drones are highly effective — but in the wrong hands, they become tools for harassment and intimidation.
2. Infrared (IR) and Night Vision Drones
Drones equipped with infrared sensors use heat signatures to detect people, vehicles, and warm objects from hundreds of feet away.
These devices often emit faint red or white lights, which can blend in with distant stars, making them easy to overlook in the night sky.
High-end IR drones can even see through thin curtains or window coverings, allowing stalkers or corporate bullies to monitor private spaces from above.
3. Window-Penetrating Cameras
Some advanced drones are equipped with low-frequency IR lasers that can penetrate glass. These sensors allow them to detect movement, body heat, and even capture faint interior visuals by analyzing reflected infrared signals.
This invasive technology poses a significant privacy threat, particularly in residential areas.
4. Drone Signal Jammers and Disruption Tools
Some drones can deploy signal jamming equipment capable of interfering with:
Wi-Fi signals (disrupting security cameras)
Mobile phone signals (causing dropped calls)
GPS signals (potentially disabling navigation systems)
This type of interference is often designed to isolate victims, especially during moments when communication is critical.
5. IR Blocking Technology
While drones may rely on infrared sensors to track body heat or identify movement, they can also be used to block infrared signals, making surveillance equipment blind to drone activity.
This allows drones to operate covertly, evading detection by common IR security systems.
6. Cell Phone IMEI Catchers (Stingray Devices)
Advanced surveillance drones may be equipped with cell tower mimicry devices — often called "IMSI catchers" or "Stingrays."
These devices trick nearby phones into connecting to them, allowing the drone operator to capture IMEI numbers (unique phone identifiers) and potentially intercept calls, messages, and location data.
Stingray technology has been controversial in law enforcement and raises serious concerns about unauthorized surveillance by corporate entities.
Psychological Impact: The Darkness as a Weapon
Nighttime drone harassment is particularly effective because it leverages the psychological vulnerabilities that occur after dark. Victims experience:
Increased Fear and Anxiety: The feeling of being watched while in the comfort of home — when visibility is low — amplifies stress.
Sleep Deprivation: The unpredictable nature of nighttime harassment can leave victims constantly on edge, preventing proper rest.
Mental Exhaustion: Over time, the persistent feeling of helplessness causes deep emotional fatigue.
Confusion and Self-Doubt: Many drones are equipped with bright white or blinking lights that resemble stars, leaving victims questioning what they’ve seen — a tactic designed to blur reality and gaslight the target.
The use of drones at night is deliberate — it’s intended to make victims second-guess themselves, appear paranoid to others, and ultimately weaken their resolve to resist.
Why This Tactic is Effective for Corporate Harassment
Corporations and organizations that engage in intimidation tactics know that night-time harassment offers distinct advantages:
Cover of Darkness: Darkness makes detection difficult, allowing drones to blend into the sky.
Exploiting Loopholes: Drone operators know that FAA regulations on night flights are limited and difficult to enforce.
Invisibility to Law Enforcement: Drones operating quietly in rural areas or residential neighborhoods are nearly impossible for authorities to track without specialized equipment.
By harassing their targets at night, these corporations create the perfect storm — one where victims feel isolated, confused, and unable to prove what they’re experiencing.
What Can Victims Do?
While the law has yet to catch up with these tactics, there are proactive steps you can take:
Document Every Incident: Record the date, time, location, and details of each sighting. If possible, capture video footage.
Use Infrared Cameras for Defense: Specialized IR security cameras can sometimes detect heat signatures that are invisible to the naked eye.
Report to the FAA and Law Enforcement: While responses may be slow, documenting every incident helps establish a pattern of behavior.
Invest in Signal Blockers or Faraday Pouches: These devices can protect phones from IMEI interception and signal interference.
Strengthen Home Security: Motion-activated lights, reinforced blinds, and surveillance cameras with cloud storage can provide evidence and deter harassment.
Exposing the Other Dark Side
An Interjection Here of a Small Portion of My Story...
In my case, every phone kept disconnecting and it wasn't a tower or coverage issue. Cell, home cell box, and eventually land line (another story) phones kept disconnecting, my computer would go crazy, documents disappeared, Google accts were being accessed and used and all info deleted. More to come...
It was at a moment of desperation that I felt I had exhausted every avenue I could think of to secure countless new phones, new computers, new securer ways of doing things... I even bought a bug catcher to detect surveillance devices. There is a neat trick I will share later...
There Is Hope!
One evening in March of 2022 as it started getting dark, I looked up into the heavens to ask why, it was then that I saw a huge drone pretty as you please right over a huge oak tree. I can still see it as clear as I did that day. I immediately thanked our Father in heaven so much for that moment and still do. In a weird way, for a moment, all my frustration ended, and I knew how what we had experienced for months prior was being executed. I could now draw a line or pull a string from one event to the next. This explained why I could never evade those following us in our vehicles in the middle of traffic in Huntsville, Birmingham, and Tuscaloosa and even the rural areas... just trying to get away to get some PEACE... not to mention in a short span we lost a sister and both of my parents. They had eyes in the sky the whole time! Drones had NOT occurred to me. It all made sense. Hope is out there when you are near your end... and least expect it. IF you are having issues. Confide in a friend, share your story and don't give up despite the odds!
Back to the phone issue, I would try to make an outside the area call and my phone would disconnect. After seeing that drone, I thought huh... I ran outside one day and I would see a DJI drone fly away. Tried the phone after it was at a distance, it worked! I then started researching IMEI catchers and jamming devices which are illegal here. That is when I AGAIN contacted the Vernon, AL Police Dept to come to the rescue and to share my findings. My problems were finally over! Nope. But, I was able to take videos of that DJI drone later. I also later took a fresh video and showed the clerk at City Hall the video and a time stamp that I was in the middle of calling the FBI Birmingham-- here is the dropped call... Nope. I stuck my phone in Mr. Don Dollar's face and made him look... Instead of help, I was told that the Vernon Police was not helping me that I needed to go to the DA's office. Oh, Ok. I had tried to talk to them about how the police were not helping at all. I had even filled out a form/sent a letter to the AL AG during this time as well.
Although my documented drone activity was mostly at night, it was happening during the day as well periodically. I could go outside and sit in the shadows, and see a pattern of the drone circling the property and where it went last-- before not seeing it again at its regular intervals. I started looking at maps and Google Earth to see where a corporate entity would set up shop, and how I could give that location to the police. This advice was actually given to me by an FAA agent, that I feel was trying to help me, but his hands were tied. Today, I can see what he was dealing with. It has to be a combined effort of Feds and local police to stop events like this...
Once I narrowed an area down where the drones went -- I felt people in the area like me could look up and actually see the drone activity. I decided to send several residents around that location a letter. If I went and talked to them, the drone pilots would know and they probably would move across town lets say or elsewhere. Certain days and times different routes, so I think the pilots were taking time off or maybe had got some pressure or were on to me zeroing in on them. (So many stories.) Recently, I found that the police stepped in to stop all communications of the residents to me! One resident called City Hall to inquire of my statements, and the VPD were on the job! Wow. I found out also that not only that, but that my letter requesting any sightings got me a harassing communications Police Incident Report that I knew nothing of... and they also combed the neighborhood (and probably passed by the actual perpetrators multiple times in doing so...) to speak to everyone that got a letter. There was a brief time when there were no drones, I will have to now go back and check if when he was patrolling that they stopped. I do recall this is when they moved to the water tower hill area of Vernon... at least more often.
I haven't done everything perfect by any means. In the FOIA Police documents that was not comprehensive I have seen, was not an actual copy of my letter--this harassing letter that asks the residents to let me know if they see drones...? I don't think I had home Internet at the time and a friend let me borrow a computer and I ripped out the modem so it could not connect or try to connect. :) I do not know this as a fact yet, but these other agencies that have talked to the VPD... were they given a copy of the letter to read or judge take their word as gospel truth for what it states? Police should be careful. There is power in FOIA and state transparency laws.
If a simple letter to a neighbor is the golden standard for harassment, I ask the public, my friends, officials, and police--- what do you call sundown to sunup illegal surveillance and stalking? Can you see that someone must be getting paid here. Something is off bad! To actually obstruct the State officials and Feds and to cut short every attempt to catch the bad guys, is thwarted? It is either that, retaliation, hatred, or some other reason besides carrying out their sworn duty as peace officers. I cannot draw any other conclusions. Something smells! I love the blue, I support the blue. In a case like this, what do you do? Don't you know the bad actors are loving this?! Probably, getting a big giggle out of this level of incompetence.
Get ready, this isn't an isolated case. What about the Fayette AL Police? What about the Tupelo, MS Police? Lee County Sheriffs Dept? Lamar County Sheriffs Dept? There are more that I contacted to try to get this stopped and find peace and justice.
When you watch most of the investigative shows on TV these days, you see a different view point. Families that are murdered have a hard time getting law enforcement help. It seems that the threats and the beatings and the violent outbursts that if properly handled could have halted the eventual outcome if it had been handled properly and the requests to do something were taken seriously. That family member, that loved one would still be alive. My heart now bleeds for those people, not that it didn't before. Now in a small way I have skin in the game. Until your parents pass away, you cannot truly empathize.
What my wife and I have been through is bad, believe me, but we all know there is worse... What it does reveal is that our laws and enforcement need to catch up with the times and the criminals. And there needs to be high standards for anyone that wears the blue. The buddy system or hire my son system doesn't work if they are not qualified. It is similar to DEI, but worse, in my opinion. It perpetuates lies and bad habits. The bar must get raised not lowered. Take the US military as a prime example. I have a perfectly clean record. Yet, I don't think I would be hired. I have three degrees. I know some law fare. I hate crime and illegal activity. Then I see who these cities have hired and its like whoa.... No specific person am I singling out. I will say that Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL Police and Fire I hold way above all others--any state any time. I dealt with them daily with a prior job on a nightly basis even during spring break with security issues, that I was in charge of... thousands of people as a Facility Manager. They had my back every single time! All Police Depts should strive to get even near their level of service and professionalism... It has been a few years ago, then it was great. And look at what they have to deal with. Spring Break is no joke! I too have seen it all I thought, I am sure they have seen way more--- a whole other can of worms. Just like teachers, hire officers that use common sense and do not have an agenda. (More to come...)
(Ding! As I write there are attempts being made to bridge my security and access my MS account and my files.)
Hackers and bad actors may be successful at some point to shut this down. That is the kind of corporate money I am going up against, they can get the best, and I have no chance. I am not able to withstand a full blown hack even with my security protocols. My level of security knowledge is mediocre, but it has got me back online and capable of where I am today, and exposing them. I at least have a faint Sheriff ear to listen to me maybe. I do hear there are several great deputies and of course just like everything else there are good and not so good. We cannot broad stroke a whole department. And these guys put their lives on the line in an instant when called upon. And I thank them for that sacrifice.
I have/had two entities that were working against me... What do you do when some of the Police officers tag team with the crooks? More to come...
In conclusion...
Night-time drone harassment is a chilling reality that many victims of corporate abuse are forced to endure. These tactics exploit both technology and psychology, leaving victims vulnerable, isolated, and exhausted.
But by exposing these tactics, raising public awareness, and demanding stronger legal protections, victims can push back. The dark side of corporate harassment thrives on secrecy — but shining a light on these abuses is the first step toward justice.
There are better ways to handle the police than I did at times. I hope to help educate others on how to handle these events when the attorneys will not help nor take your case. Alexander Shunnarah would not answer when this Alabama resident "Called Him." He is an attorney with A LOT of signs and ads, especially in southern Alabama which state, "Call me Alabama!" I will have to give his law firm a thumbs up because they copied everything I had at the time and to this day have details. Thanks Mr. Shunnarah! He has done more than any other firm so far... the others listened about 5 minutes. I may revisit him with my latest and new evidence, that too was early on. My case has gained new momentum and more and more evidence has come to light that at some point I can reveal how it came to be and the steps I took, and answer what, when, where, how, and why.
If you’ve experienced night-time drone harassment or know someone who has, your story matters. I believe you and I know it can and does happen way too often. If you are at wits end and suspect foul play... Look to the heavens and pray, and keep your eyes open for DRONES! They are way more sophisticated than we hear about. Plus, global companies have access to all the gadgets that are illegal in the USA. Keep that in mind.
Speak up. Expose the truth. Demand accountability. I plan to get as much legal help in the matter as possible, and to convey the message to federal agencies as well. The New Jersey and Oregon drone showings should stand that even a few days of weeks of something over your head is not in any way comforting.
Share with me, and the world. Together, we can ensure these tactics are no longer ignored and justice is served.
