MY STORY: The Hidden Scheme Targeting Workers at Southeast Input and the Relentless Efforts to Break and Cancel Those Who Speak Out
Introduction:
For the past three years, I’ve faced relentless harassment — targeted drone surveillance, hacking, stalking, and intimidation. If that were not bad enough, I have had to deal with trying to stop the organized attempts of the Police Dept in Vernon, AL (where we fled) which set out to discredit my claims and mark me as "mental." Why? Why are the cops tag teaming with the bad actors?
From day one I tried to explain the enormity of my investigation into FedEx to select individuals and the Vernon Police Dept. What I got was stares and ridicule for the most part. I was made fun of because I've gotten some big degree now and must think I am so important... I was told that is just how the big corporations are--they're crooked. And they are not worried about Joe Fulmer! Well then. Here is a glimpse of why someone "might" be harassing me to keep me quiet, and why now more than ever, I have decided to take this struggle public, and speak up and out! No more doing the same thing hoping for different results.
THE SCOPE OF MY CLAIMS
I have chosen after much contemplation to make my discoveries public and to actually expose the corrupt system that FedEx and Sedgwick Claims Management have so desperately wanted to keep hidden — a carefully crafted system designed to suppress injury claims, bypass OSHA reporting, and leave injured employees without care or compensation.
Again, this isn’t just about me. The truth is, the majority of the 50,000+ (smaller numbers hired year around) seasonal employees seeking a job at the Fed Ex Express Hub in Memphis for peak holiday work are younger African Americans — many of whom may not have been well-versed in workers' compensation laws. I saw people drop like flies all around me hurt or hurting with at least 95% turnover. It isn't because these kids didn't want to work. It was the treatment and conditions of the facility that they were forced to work in that is at issue. FedEx chose a risk management plan that does not include prevention by modernization, but instead has chosen to conceal and CANCEL the injuries. To take them off their ledger and the books. The majority of the injuries are like mine, my shoulder, or knee. But, it would have taken possibly $100s of millions to update that part of the original facility right off the tarmac where new employees are put to work to take up the slack of the overflow from the modern hub center. In other words, they chose the bad actor route of profits over ethics.
FedEx and its partners in crime have exploited this scheme to suppress legitimate claims for many years. I personally know of individuals that got hurt there almost 30 years ago and FedEx did nothing for the injured back then either. It was a place for the company to see if the new employee could make it without getting injured, segregate the good ones out-- cull'em. If they were injured but still came to work they stood a chance to earn the right of passage--that is if they obediently said nothing about their injury to anyone and kept their heads down. Remind you of the slave days? It did me.
I know I was targeted because I uncovered the truth — and unlike many others, I had the knowledge and background to recognize the fraudulent tactics at play. I knew about workers comp and the law — hence I knew what FedEx and its partners were doing is wrong.
Here is the rest of my story — the truth about what I uncovered, the harassment I endured, and why I refuse to stay silent.
The Injury That Exposed the Scheme
In 2021, while working at FedEx’s Southeast Input terminal — a facility notorious for employee injuries, I found out later — I suffered an on-the-job injury. FedEx knew I had previously been hurt at this same terminal, yet they pressured me to return to work under threat of termination. Shortly after, I was injured again.
When I filed a claim with the Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation (TNBWC), my claim was denied almost immediately. The denial wasn’t based on facts — it was based on a false medical diagnosis.
A doctor, Jeffery Dlabach of Ortho One Orthopedics in Collierville, TN claimed I had advanced-stage arthritis — and despite the fact that he had given me an upcoming appointment to come back and seek treatment... he abruptly denied my claim. What happened? Why would a doctor set me an appointment to come back then immediately sit down and write a letter to the attorney and deny the claim. There was only one change... I filed a Petition with the TN Bureau of Workers Compensation. I knew if I did have arthritis it was very little if any, so on the way out the door, I grabbed a copy of my X-Ray. Radiological evidence later proved his diagnosis was false. Red flag. This was after all the prior hurdles that I had went through to just get to his door, that I will share later.
I firmly believe this was no accident — I allege this was part of a pay-off doctor scheme, where medical professionals manipulate reports to justify claim denials. The first thing I did was to investigate how many claims were filed with the court before me. Well that was difficult because the system is set up to where unless the case makes it all the way to the court docket and is tried, it vanishes... Poof its like it never even happened! Memphis Ortho Clinics have practically been all bought out and merged. A coincidence?
In the two years prior, from my TN BWC website research (Since removed), I found that there were only two-- yes, correct, two cases each year on the record for FedEx... We are talking thousands of employees and at minimum hundreds of injuries per month. I didn't want to pursue the petition. TN BWC pushed me that way after each call to ask questions, because I could get no answers from FedEx or Sedgwick. Instead of handling it, I was told to file a Petition form. I didn't know that filing this document online created an actual court case and trial! It is set up so an employee can defend themselves. So in a panic over what I had gotten into, I started my case. By this time, as you will see later, I already knew there were major issues from the initial handling of the injury and the Athletic Trainer stating that they are hiding injuries again, to the claim number being withheld. I could not sit by idly and see such corruption, and do nothing. But, I had no clue to its extent!
The Rigged System: How FedEx and Sedgwick Suppressed Claims
As I investigated further, I uncovered something far worse — a deliberate system designed to suppress legitimate injury claims:
FedEx’s Southeast Input terminal had a long-standing history of employee injuries — yet injury reports were routinely withheld.
The claims system made it nearly impossible to obtain a claim number, effectively preventing legitimate claims from ever entering FedEx’s system or the TN BWC system.
Without a claim number or "real" case or claim, there was no OSHA alert, hiding dangerous working conditions from regulators.
Injured employees and medical clinics were often left to pay for their own treatment — a tactic that exploited employees who lacked knowledge of workers’ compensation laws.
I knew what I had uncovered had serious legal implications — including the potential for a class action lawsuit. I wrote an emai to FedEx CEO Fred Smith warning of this.
Instead of escalating my concerns to their Legal or Risk Management departments, FedEx labeled my email as an HR issue... No, it was high priority and it was the legal and risk management crew that I dealt with from then on. I became the burr in their saddle. The Risk Management group allowed them to minimize my options, ignore my pleadings, and identify me as a threat. I was soon introduced to the FedEx attorney.
The Harassment That Followed
After sending that email, things took a dark turn.
💻 My computer was hacked, and my court documents — which contained my research and what I would call evidence of FedEx’s claims suppression tactics — were deleted.
🚗 Cars began following us, monitoring my movements in what felt like organized intimidation.
🛸 This eventually led to drones circling our residence upon returning to Alabama. To pull off what I describe, takes more than a few kids playing with drones. The activity is organized and a fine tuned machine. The drones hover until batteries are depleted, and return to base to have another one fly right on in. This happens no matter the time while dark, weather permitting, violating our privacy and adding psychological stress to my already difficult situation.
I later learned that this type of surveillance and intimidation is often used to silence those who attempt to expose corporate wrongdoing. Look at the history of FedEx and their corporate culture led by now former CEO Fred Smith. At FedEx, if someone mentioned the U word-- as in Union, they were to be fired and escorted off the property.
As mentioned, in an effort to escape the harassment, I moved to Alabama — only to find that the intimidation followed me. When I reported the harassment and surveillance to the Vernon Police Department, they dismissed my concerns, suggesting I was "mental." The Vernon Police seemed to believe that my concerns were nothing more than paranoia — because "who would go to these tactics?"
But this is no delusion. I have over 300 videos showing drones not just passing over but camping out around my residence from sunset to sunrise — even following me across state lines. This is far more than just an isolated scheme — it’s a multi-million, if not billion-dollar system designed to avoid accountability over a 30-year period.
The police, the public, and authorities need to understand that this isn’t just about me — this is a large-scale operation designed to suppress legitimate injury claims and protect corporate profits. And it demands an immediate investigation by authorities.
Why I’m Still Fighting
Despite everything — the intimidation, the harassment, and the attempts to discredit me — I refuse to back down. My goal is simple:
🔹 Expose the system that exploits injured workers
🔹 Hold FedEx and Sedgwick accountable for their unethical conduct
🔹 Protect other employees from becoming victims of this same abuse
But I can’t do this alone.

The Truth Must Be Told
I’ve spent years facing relentless harassment because I refused to stay silent (Add on an incompetent police department). I believe the system FedEx and Sedgwick created is designed to suppress legitimate injury claims and manipulate the legal process to avoid accountability.
But I’m still standing — and I won’t stop until the truth is revealed.
